Balanced Reading

The Balanced Reading site says it is "developing research-based resources for the balanced reading teacher".

Letters and Sounds

This is material from the British Department for Education about teaching phonics and reading to young learners. There are a series of FREE downloadable units, full of information and practical pedagogy.

It is delivered in six "phases", but this is not year 1-6, each "phase" is only a few weeks.
